performance testing
Include PERFORMANCE TESTING during the physical prototyping stage to ensure that the designed material performs as it is intended according to the standardized procedures through our in-house American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) accredited analytical laboratory.
Once your material is designed, we recommend a series of standardized testing to ensure its performance. Sending the sample to an outside lab can be expensive and time consuming. However, Techmer’s A2LA accredited in-house lab can perform numerous testing standards including American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM), International Organization for Standards (ISO), and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Because testing can be part of the design session, quick turnaround and fast feedback allows world-class speed to market.
TIMING
PERFORMANCE TESTING during the physical prototyping stage to iterate a final product produces excellent results.
- Determine the product's core functionality goals
- Testing is performed based on the requirements
- Flame retardancy
- Accelerated weathering
- Physical properties
- Color measurement
- Transparency, haze, clarity
- Heat management
- Quality Control (QC) process is defined for lot-to-lot consistency
- Analytical lab reports provided as needed for iterative refinements
empower your design team with our performance testing experts during the physical prototyping stage to achieve product vision.
