2023
- Earned EcoVadis Silver medal.
- Dalton, GA site certified Zero Waste to Landfill.
- Acquired Advanced Color Technologies LLC.
2022
- Achieved ISO 13485 Certification in Batavia, IL.
2021
- Partnered with Cupron and Nanoxplore.
- Named “Best Places to Work” by Plastics News for the sixth time since 2014.
2020
- SK Capital acquired majority stake in Techmer PM.
2018
- Opened new facility in Queretaro, Mexico.
- Partnered with Plastix Global.
2017
- Integrated Techmer ES subsidiary into parent company Techmer PM, LLC.
- Received the R&D 100 Award for Additive Printing – Reinforced Carbon Fiber Material.
2016
- Launched the SHYFT Design + Innovation community to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
2015
- President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden visited the Techmer PM plant in Clinton to announce a manufacturing innovation hub.
2014
- Sponsored the first annual Bill Moggridge Awards, recognizing innovative materials design.
- Named “Best Places to Work” by Plastics News.
2013
- Opened a new facility in Batavia, IL.
- Established Techmer Engineered Solutions (TES) subsidiary.
- Introduced Techflow to reduce flow lines in blow molding applications.
- Acquired TP Composites, adding an engineering compounding facility in Aston, Pennsylvania.
2011
- Established engineering plastics compounding capabilities at the Rancho Dominguez plant.
- Achieved ISO/TS16949 automotive quality management certification.
2010
- Acquired Techsurf® (formerly Irgasurf) from BASF.
- Established the analytical testing laboratory Polytest in Clinton, Tennessee.
2009
- Achieved A2LA accreditation.
2008
- Merged Gainesville and Dalton plants into Dalton, Georgia.
- Acquired Accel Color, adding two manufacturing plants in Illinois and Ohio.
2006
- Hosted the first international edition of the Fibertech conference.
2004
- Acquired a range of specialty compounds from DSM Engineering Plastics USA.
- Opened the first engineering plastics compounding unit in Clinton, Tennessee.
2003
- Partnered with Far East Plastics to launch a Chinese presence.
2002
- Opened the Fiber Service Center in Dalton, Georgia.

- Hosted the first Fibertech materials design industry conference.

- Acquired Boom Color, adding the first Midwest manufacturing plant in Wichita, Kansas.
